I will start responding to my thousands of e^mails and dozens of phone messages next week.

And please understand that I was gone for 2 weeks on a much needed family vacation.

I worked my tail off the first quarter of this year and I needed this break really badly.

I practically single-handledly promoted my 'Double Birthday Bash' & InterActive Marketing Summit' like a maniac, got exhausted, & sick with allergies in April, then got conned by a loser-marketing-guru-wanna-be and intellectual property thief and then finally . . .

I was super shocked and deeply saddened when I heard about my friend, colleague and mentor Corey Rudl's passing. . . :-{

I've had it!

I told my family and business associates:

"I NEED a vacation!"

So off we went westward . . . Cool and breezy San Francisco Bay area was a welcome relief to hot and sunny San Antonio, Texas . . .

We met with friends and family . . .

Had sumptious Filipino food in the midst of Filipinotown in Daly City (where the city mayor, I heard, is Filipino) and a grand feast of dim sum in Chinatown, SF . . .

Simone and I had a ball putting puzzles together at the enormous Border's bookstore and playing at the malls' play areas . . . while Sheila shopped 'til she dropped with her best friend . . . for 3 straight days . . . unbelievable!

We also went to scenic Monterrey where I was interviewed on TV by long-time subscriber of mine - Richard Lundquist.

No, he grilled me for 2.5 hours for his TV show called "Innovator's World".

On our way back home, we took the 17-mile drive in Pebble Beach, CA where we saw palatial beach homes right along the Pacific Ocean . . .

Boy, the waves were HUGE!

Believe it or not, I did NOT open my laptop at all while we were in SF, CA . . .

I truly needed and cherished my time-off.

Although SF was nice, I won't trade SA for SF because I live in a small piece of heaven called Helotes (with the famed Texas Hill Country just a stone's throw away) and indeed, there is no place like home... ;-}

Since Sea World San Antonio is just minutes away and we have a family season pass, we decided to extend our vacation for a few more days as soon as we got back.
